Gerard Dunleavy is a professional Concept Artist, Matte Painter and Visual Effects Technical Director working across the Film, Advertising and Game industries.
Studying the principles of design at the University of Ulster, He went on to achieve a Masters degree and win an international award for his work.
Following academia he gained experience as a Matte Painter / VFX Generalist and Technical Director for some of the worlds leading visual effects studios. Studios such as Framestore, The Mill, MPC and Double Negative to name a few.
Now he combines his skills and experience in Art, Design and Visual Effects techniques to create stunning images that tell stories.
His work appears in film and TV projects such as Netflix's - The Crown and Black Mirror series. Marvel's Thor and Captain Marvel films as well as many commercial clients, including Nike, Honda, BMW and Guinness.
