Nunu Solsona

Nunu Solsona (Barcelona, 1982) — Studied fashion design, where her passion
for footwear came into being. She combined her creative flair with training in traditional footwear
design with great shoe craftsman and in specific techniques at the Footwear Museum in Elda.

Having collaborated with the renowned fashion designer from Mallorca, Cortana and the award
winning valencian brand Lola Cruz, Solsona has also proposed designs for Diesel and other footwear brands embracing a full knowledge of all shoe types and constructions. Furthermore, Solsona also teaches the craft of shoe making with workshops at the Instituto Europeo di Design Campus Barcelona, University of Vigo, Fine Arts department, Fashion School and in Camper’s Summer Workshop in Mallorca. In summer of 2012, her role of teaching expands into other parts of the world such as Hiko Mizuno, School of Crafts in Japan.
