I have a degree in Philosophy from the U.A.M. and I work professionally as a writer, music and film critic and manager, coordinator, press officer and PR of audiovisual projects. As essayist my field of specialization is the cinematic musical aesthetics. I began my journalistic activity as an audiovisual critic during the second half of the 1990s in radio, physical and digital press and collaborating with the T&B publishing house reviewing film monographs. After coordinating in 2006 and 2007 the two editions of the film festival Soncinemad, I was appointed masterclass teacher of the Aesthetics of Cinematographic Music course within the Chair of Musicology of the UAM. Between 2006 and 2013 I worked as a journalist, co-editor and translator of the journal Diverdi, developing an activity as translator of texts for the Teatro Real in Madrid and the classical music record labels Glossa, Neos, Tudor and Kairos. I also started an steady collaboration with the prestigious Scherzo magazine and since then I have published a large number of studies, reviews and articles and interviewed great international figures such as Anne-Sophie Mutter, Tan Dun or Jóhann Jóhannsson.

In 2012 the Film Academy offered me the co-editor post of its official magazine and I also developed a collaboration with the digital newspaper El arte de la fuga and the magazine Caimán-Cuadernos de Cine as well. I have authored texts for such pre-eminent record labels as Verso, Quartet, Warner Music and Sony Classical and programme notes for the Philharmonic, Galicia Symphony and National Orchestral and Choir orchestras in Spain, lectured at the Zarzuela Theater, National Film Library, Museum of Romanticism and the Residencia de Estudiantes and also participated in Radio Clásica’s 'La tertulia de la mañana' programme.

In the field of business and cultural management I have worked for more than six years as a PR, coordinator, programmer and project manager for such companies as Diverdi, Sémele Proyectos Musicalales, La Quinta de Mahler, El arte de la fuga, Solé Luthiers and The Guarneri Society. I recently collaborated with Solé Recordings as record producer and with Unión Musical Ediciones as an associate consultant. As an author I published the collection This Is Opera between 2016/17 and on September 2017 the first edition of PLAYPHONIA was premiered, a symphonic-choral concert of my own creation dedicated to the dignification of music for the interactive arts.
