Fabulous course on how to embroider on alternative materials to fabric. The teacher is very good and explains well: she tells how to get inspiration for the drawing, how to prepare the material, how to embroider it. The course is mainly centered on embroidery on leaves (very interesting) but there are suggestions on other materials.

Corso adatto per chi vuole ricamare su supporti inusuali. Hillary mostra passo dopo passo come farlo su elementi organici, quali foglie.

Es un curso muy practico, fácil de entender y aplicar la metodología que propone el profesor, muy contenta y satisfecha con el curso.

Mi è piaciuto moltissimo il corso e Hillary è davvero bravissima.
Non essendo pratica di ricamo avrei voluto vedere come si chiude una linea (intendo come si fermano i fili). Comunque complessivamente sono molto entusiasta e lo consiglierò sicuramente alle amiche.

I have a magnolia tree in my yard, and many times, I have thought about creative ways I could use these enormous leaves. This course with Hillary Waters inspired me to artistically embellish my collections of natural materials with coloured thread and other pressed pieces. I have grey-striped sheets from an abandoned wasp's nest, feathers, cones, and dried flowers. I can now see myself creating beautiful works of art with some techniques learned here. Thank you!

Hillary is clear, concise and knowledgable.
I love what she does and would take more courses. I just have trouble with the leaves tearing or crumbling. Need suggestions for that.

I watched the complete course before doing any project then I can go back as needed while doing my first project. Hilary was very clear and informative with her lessons. I can’t wait to get started! I am going into my garden right now to see what I can find. I love all her work!
