Although I haven't finished yet I really appreciate Sarah's style of teaching and her skills. She's revived my interest in charcoal drawing after years of doing other art forms.

This has given me the confidence to explore charcoal drawing. Sarah is so calm and breaks each step down into achievable parts allowing you to develop your skills quickly. I love the exercises, and she shares her own journey making it feel like a1:1 tutorial.

Amazing. Thorough, informative, simple advice that I am confident in saying will help any beginner to advanced artist to improve their skills. Highly recommend.

I used to try and draw portraits from life and, although I improved over time, I eventually gave up because I struggled to get the proportions correct. However, Sarah shows how to work from photographs, which makes it much easier and I can already see a massive improvement in my work. I also did Sarah's watercolour birds course and this inspired me to start drawing and painting again. I will look out for more of Sarah's courses.

I am a newbie to charcoal drawing, learn so much useful tips from this course. Thank you so much, really enjoy it.

I simply enjoyed to take this course, wonderful. Like Sarah I too started drawing and paiting very late, hence her way of explaining the methods and processes looked like in total harmony with my needs.
