Great course and fabulous teacher but the course itself was a bit let down by having no close-up shots. I couldn't see some of what Sarah was doing and describing. I had to GUESS what she was doing with the droplet. Hope you sort this out, Domestika. The course would be perfect otherwise.

charcoal has always fascinated me and I really wanted to learn about the techniques in handling charcoal. This course is really good for beginners and the instructor Sarah is a very passionate teacher. You can feel hooked from the introduction unit. I haven't completed the course yet but I am enjoying myself. I cannot wait to learn more techniques and complete my final project.

I decided to give this course a try after a 20+ year break from any sort of artwork. I was really impressed with the relaxed step by step approach to each stage of the course. Sarah explains each point carefully and clearly which really helped me get my creaky old self doubting fingers back at the easel. I've never used charcoal before and after some initial frustrations I soon found myself following along and thoroughly engrossed and enjoying every moment. . Thanks Sarah.
