I suppose that my biggest influence and the reason I work as designer is my mum. Since I can remember, I have always been surrounded by painting and art in general, either because my mother was painting or because of the numerous exhibitions and creative spaces she took me to.
Like her, I like to experiment and try different branches of design and art, to find what really motivates me.
I was trained in Madrid, Spain at E.S.D.(Escuela Superior de Diseño) as an Interior Designer and while I was studying I discovered that what I enjoyed the most was the creative part, the conceptualization of the project, is when I started to discover the graphic design field, as a more immediate creative medium.
But it was not until years later when I decided to study Graphic Design at Bournemouth & Poole College (UK), where I have been living for few years. These studies allowed me to enter into the creative industry.
During my studies I was working as a freelance and when I finished I started as in-house designer for a company working with Premium Merchandising field for some of the most important retail companies. Working among with products, packaging and patterns.
The evolution does not stop, and lately I have an interest for patterns and mix the digital with a more manual and handmade design, transport the graphic world to art and vice versa and translate it into everyday objects.
Mixing what I love most design, nature and traveling.
