Rubén H. Bermúdez, Madrid, 1981.

Vive en Madrid, trabaja como fotógrafo y profesor de fotografía.

Gracias a una beca estudia en EFTI. Asiste a diferentes talleres con autores como Eduardo Momeñe, o Juan Valbuena. Co-funda Fanzine 10x15 y publica un fotolibro con la editorial CaravanBook.

Inicia el proyecto Y tú, ¿por qué eres negro? y es seleccionado para Encontro do Aristas Novos, dirigido por Rafael Doctor Roncero. Gana los visionados del AlibabaPhotoFestival con Ricardo Cases o Grégoire Pujade-Lauraine, entre otros, como visionadores. Da una conferencia en EFTI sobre identidad racial y fotografía.

Es profesor de lenguaje fotográfico en Madphoto. Ha impartido un taller de fotolibros colectivos en el Centro Cultural Español de Malabo y actualmente disfruta de una residencia en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, bajo la tutela de Javier Pérez Iglesias.

Thanks to a scholarship, he studies at EFTI. He Attends different workshops with authors such as Eduardo Momeñe or Juan Valbuena. He cofounded 10x15 magazine and published a photobook with the publisher CaravanBook.

He starts the project “But why are you black?” and it is selected for EAN, led by Rafael Doctor Roncero. He wins the viewings of AlibabaPhotoFestival with authors like Ricardo Cases or Pujade Grégoire-Lauraine as viewers. He lectures in EFTI about racial identity and photography.

He teaches photographic language in MadphotoHe has taught a workshop on collective photo books in the Spanish Cultural Center in Malabo, and he currently enjoys a residence at the School of Fine Arts Complutense University of Madrid under the guidance of Javier Pérez Iglesias.
