Raya Sader Bujana

Hello! I’m Raya, a Lebanese-Venezuelan Paper Artist & Set Designer based in Barcelona.

I studied architecture in Venezuela at the U.C.V. all the way until my last semester and then had to move away to Barcelona, I continued/started over my studies here at the U.P.C. ETSAB for 3 (very long) years, until… I decided to drop out in 2008 and focus on what I do best: Paper Art, Paper Sculpture and Set Design.

I kinda always knew it’s what I wanted to do and am very happy to be able to do this for a living now. I’ve created stop-motion videos, commissioned pieces and sculptures, worked with clients like Camper, DOIY, Desigual, Metalarte, Nissan, Seattle Met, 7UP, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Nandu Jubany, and am currently working on new exhibitions for my artwork.

My work is very influenced by my strong background in architecture, my love of nature and it’s intricate and organic patterns and textures.
