Dr. Quinten D. Fourie

I am a General Practitioner with special interest in Aesthetic, Integrative and Regenerative medicine during the day. After hours I am a very involved father of two beautiful teenage daughters whom I love with all my heart. I am engaged to my partner, who is a Financial manager during the day and a dressmaker after hours. I have always had the passion to be a writer, more of an educational angle, although I have explored other genres before. I love teaching and have spent many hours teaching students about different topics in medicine. In some cases I would prefer pure academic things and other times I would like to give a sense of what my point is on a certain topic. I stay in a small town where many people know all about you. I love where I stay, on a small holding with many different animals. I love animals, as they give unconditional love and brightens my day, every day. I also enjoy music and play different instruments, and I am very fortunate that my youngest daughter takes after me in a cultural sense, and my eldest daughter has taken on the love for medicine and aspires to be a Chiropractor one day. It is difficult to tell people who and what you are, because I have high-functioning autism. Currently one of the books I am writing about is my life's journey as an atypical child, but fortunately, I hope, mostly a "normal" adult. I want to learn as much as I can about many different things that will assist me in my journey of becoming a renowned and respected Author / Writer. My inspiration will always be my loving mother that has passed away last year from cancer, as her journey forced me into finishing and publishing my first book.
