Soup is the main character of a picture book I'm working on. I still need to make him and his friends more life-like and more three dimensional, but this is a start ;) Soup's facial expressions are a bit tricky, because he doesn't actually have a real mouth and I definitely need to pay more attention to the line of action. While doing the turnaround I decided to change Soup's hands a bit, but I might actually like the more simple hands better.
But I greatly enjoyed this course and I've learned so much! I certainly need to practise more, so any feedback is extremely welcome. Thank you so much for this great class!!

TeacherProThis looks great!!! So glad you enjoyed the course. For soup's expressions, maybe you can play around with the "hat" more. Since you said it's tricky to push expressions (I think you did pretty well with it) maybe make the hat jump as the character is surprised or sad might be with the hat sliding down or something..That might help.
Your drawings look solid. GREAT work with that turnaround. Those are very tricky and you did well! Line of action poses is just something we all need to keep in mind and keep pushing. What is important is that you now know and can keep it in mind with new drawings.
If you want any help with something specific just let me know.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I love your hat idea, so I tried it on a few expressions and it certainly helps. I added the new version to my project.
I’m going to keep working on my characters and whatnot 😉
