Finally finished this piece! I had my doubts in the middle of painting this and almost started over, but I kept pushing on and am happy I did.
I was inspired by comets for my fantasy theme, and after making my mood board, thought of drawing a sort of glowing comet girl descending through space. To add a more fantasy elements into the piece, I also decided to draw in some glowing comet fish floating around her.
Here are some process photos that I took along the way:

For the finishing touches, the course also teaches us how to use "High Pass" to sharpen our painting, and the results are truly amazing! It really does wonders to make details pop and sharpen some of the fuzzy areas.
Here is the before and after using High Pass:

Before High Pass - After High Pass
I'm really happy with the results and the course overall as it was very clear and fun to follow along. The process that the teacher taught us is very efficient and the custom brushes are very nice to use, I'll definitely be using them in my future paintings as well. The teacher walks us through all the steps, so prior experience with Photoshop is not necessary at all, but I think that having prior knowledge regarding anatomy would help those following along this course to achieve the best results. Even so, the course was very fun and is definitely suitable for anyone interested in painting fantasy portraits!

PERFECT <3
@morira_art Thank you so much!
This is very beautiful, really good job on the lighting and rendering! The colors are pretty and the fishes around her gave the artwork a good flow and framed the character perfectly. The only thing I think you can refine is you can soften the hard edge on her forehead so it will look more natural. Well done on your final project, I'm sure you will do very well with time and practice! I hope you enjoyed the process and learned a lot, thank you for joining my course! :)

@stregoica That's very nice of you to say, I'm glad you like it! Your art is also very beautiful, I also like painting art with Oriental influences :)
Thank you^^ I guess mine didn't have that many fantasy themes but It turned out ok^^ Oriental items comes from the chinese cultivation novels I read. I want to be able to illustrate any scene I like from the books in the future :)
I absolutely loved the process you took us through. It is enlightening and appreciated. In terms of your explorations with lighting and added processes to sharpen the final piece is the best way. Keep exploring and pushing your boundaries; you will probably find yourself in amazing worlds you have creating because of this. Excellent.
Fantastic! This illustration is magnificent. The light, the color, the subject: compliment!!
@leena_dini Thankyou so much! I'll definitely keep on practicing and improving :)
