For my final project I asked my beautiful friend Valerie if she would pose for me. Although she might look like one, she's not a model but a psychology student and not used to have her picture taken. However we were super relaxed and having fun whilst taking pictures, it probably took about an hour to really get into flow mode and I feel that I couldn't have made a better choice for my first portrait photoshoot and am very happy with the results. I hope you like them too and can't wait to hear your feedback to improve my skills!! I have now done a couple of more portrait sessions which you can look at on my instagram @marlene_delbello . I used a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 35 mm lens. Thank you again for this great course! <3

Teacher PlusHi Marlene! I am delighted with your project. It’s exactly what I was asking for: intimacy, honesty and beauty.
I connect with all the images that you posted, I perceive the naturalness of the moment and the confidence of your bond.
I especially like 2, 9, 13 and 14. I think there is a lot of potential in them!
I encourage you to work more on colors in order to find your own language and make it a little less digital, as I think it could go very well with your works. I can’t tell you more than congratulations, keep portraying such honest situations!

@leentrelineas Thank you very much! That means a lot to me!! :) Could you help me understand the phrase -make it less digital- do you mean experimenting with analog photography or editing it in a way that it might look like that?
Thank you and let me tell you again that I loved the course !!
