Adorei o curso!

Teacher PlusVinícius, how is this your first experience with drawing and have you reached that level ?? It's really impressive. I can see that you took it super seriously and dedicated yourself to every task, every step. Congratulations!!!
The step of observing photos to draw made your drawing jump in quality. And even if it is not perfect as in the photo, the interesting thing is exactly these imperfections that give the unique characteristic of each person.
Drafts can and should be dirty. Nothing wrong with your drafts. These "dirt" of the sketch help us to find the best forms, the expressions. Sometimes you make a line that is not what you would like, and then you redo it over the top, getting dirty, until you find a nice shape.
What you said is true: the grooves, or hatches, greatly improve the designs. This feature makes us gain more volume, texture, enhancement of shapes and even a feeling of light and shadow. Doing intuitively as you did is a great exercise. Over time you will discover your own tricks. Some things to keep in mind that can help you are: try to imagine where the light comes from. If the light comes from the right, then make hatches more present on the left sides of the objects. Thus, you get a good feeling of shadow / light. Another thing: try to imagine how the volume of the object is and draw the hatches "making the curve" of the volume of your object. This will reinforce the idea of volume. That is, hatches do not always have to be straight, they can have waves that simulate the volume. But the best thing is what you are already doing very well: taking chances, experimenting and without fear of making mistakes.
The graphics part is really difficult. I managed to reach a legal level of graphics only after a long time experimenting, testing, wrong, improving. I think you started very well. It is interesting to have graphics that speak to our theme in some way. And I see that you have already done this by placing checkers at the bottom, which refer to the board. Keep thinking like that.
Colors: colors may be too primary. I think a better color palette could make a big leap in composition. Of course, we will also improve our sensitivity to colors over time. But a tip I can give you at the beginning is to look for cool palettes on Pinterest and apply it to your drawing. From there you will move a little until it is in your taste / style. But it can be a good start.
Vinícius, congratulations again! Not only for the impressive result for those who have just started but for the dedication and free experimentation, without fear, that you are following.

Thanks for the feedback, Mauro! I am very excited to continue practicing this type of drawing.
I will practice the hashes a lot with the volume and light in mind.
I followed your tip and used some Pinterest color palettes to replace the colors I had selected and I already felt a lot of results. I'll try some more.
Hugs and thanks!
