Yes, I have a lot to improve hahaha, but for not having experience in animation I feel very good. I had to do a lot of research and look for certain tips, however, I really liked doing this project.
As I mentioned in the captions, I made 3 different sketches and shootings (and yes ... on different days we had to eat pizza 3 times hahaha!). These tests made me better define which line to focus on and I learned a lot between what is in my mind and what can be real (trial / error). Finally, I chose to convey that eating something we like is divine, but if you are in good company, tell me if it is not better?
Anyway, I want to tell you that among the many sketches I did, other ideas arose that I do not want to discard, so I will do another additional exercise on my own, with the same food still life context and therefore work a little more on the exercise to improve.
They made this quarantine something really useful and motivating for me.
Total thanks!
What a beautiful project! First of all, thank you for sharing with us all your process and sketches and for taking our course, we are very excited!
We love that your partner has been able to help you and that you have been able to eat your fav food 3 times in the same week! haha
About the still life:
The light management is very good, the light is constant and even.
Regarding composition, it was a great idea to make a centered composition because this helps us with the idea of sharing and also the presence of 2 people. The pizza has a good reading (and it looks super tasty too haha)
In this case, the toast must be the center of attention at all times, because in this way we reinforce once again the company's message, "By your side is better!"
There are some things that distract us a bit from the toast, such as the bottle and the flowerpot and berries that are next to it, because they compete a lot with the toast, especially because it has movement. We would recommend taking the bottle out of the game, because the presence of the wine with the glasses is already understood and the other props could perhaps be reordered more with the candles, or maybe use them on one of the sides in the bottom, although we understand that that could ruin the symmetry.
As for the napkins and plates, being very large white dots, they pull the eye. For future occasions, you could perhaps think of having smaller plates, so that the candle does not get lost so much in them and perhaps also choose between having napkins or having plates.
In the case of the glasses against the white background, here the white is very helpful! because it highlights the brilliance of the liquid and the glass so that they don't get lost so much, well done!
The liquid loop is very nice, the glasses in general fit you very well! The steam is a great idea too, only it gets a little lost against the bottle, it's another reason why it would have been nice to clean the bottle of the composition.
We are very happy to be able to see your project and that you have done something so beautiful in these difficult moments of confinement and with the things in your house!
