“Nothing is more your own than your dreams.” -Friedrich Nietzsche
This installation represents the idea that IKEA can realize your dreams.
As in a house whre you share space with all the people who pass through it, your family and friends.
So many times in this environment from the simple dreams to the dreams that are almost unreachable over 365 days a year: waking up next to the person you love, play with the children, watching them grow, the first steps in a kitchen, the marks on the wall that leave their mark in our lifetime, sofas that trap us on a sunday afternoon watching a movie with the family, our first job, the first office, hidden battles in the bathroom.
To represent this concept in the space provided, a cube of side 2.40m and following the specified tasks, we remove the front wall of the cube and its opposite to create a walkable room by the visitors of the exhibition. This space that crosses represents a year of our lives.
We will invite visitors to the exhibition to write their dreams into strips VITAMINER curtains, using the colors of these curtains as a code to identify them as the symbolism of dreams and transmit sensation at first sight. Participants also written to encourage dreams leave once the story is already started.
As a class group, we create and develop all the installation with the help of some teacher, and also, the brand, graphic and website.
