Yes, @leridasanchez the course is to learn how to make molds to reproduce in ceramics and it needs to be fired in a special kiln for ceramics. There is a variant that is to use air-dried porcelain, without an oven, but with this type of material you cannot make utilitarian objects.
@xenia_bas in this case of the teapot, how would the mold be? The chute would go through the mouth, the chute of the mold would be closed. And how do I make the lid? What can I use so that the plaster does not stick when I do the other half? I cannot access the elements to make the substance with potash.
@lilianaresler yes, in this case the sprue of the mold is located in the mouth of the teapot, that is, the largest hole.
The lid would be a separate mold following the same steps as a two-part mold.
On the release material, if you cannot get potash or ready-made release agent, you can use common dish soap, the liquid.
luck!
