The project was to make a video for the internet that, while promoting the SinDelantal.com brand, would serve some of the restaurants that work with the website. I was a director, cameraman, sound engineer and editor.
The first thing was to add a human component to avoid being a simple promotion of two companies. Therefore, the owner of one of the restaurants was thought so that he could tell not only his experience with his business, but also the new adventure that was supposed to promote himself on the Internet. In the interview, whose questions came from the head of SinDelantal.com, medium and close-up shots alternate depending on what is being told, if it is something more personal or just business.
To add dynamism to the video, I opted to record how they prepared a plate of food and alternate it in the montage with the interview. I shuffled several options, but for a mere aesthetic question I thought that adjusting the video in a smaller frame would be more attractive to make way for questions. Finally, a royalty-free jazz theme was chosen that added rhythm and was elegant.
Thus, the final video shows the restaurant, one of its dishes, the way it is packed to take away and the SinDelantal brand. All this with the aim of not reaching three minutes.
