Hello @leliaincolor ! :) Sorry to wait, it's been a crazy week!
About your project, tell you that I love the textures you have used, the illustration has a brutal force. Bravo.
As an advice for future projects, I would tell you to be a little more careful with the pencil, since I think you force black in some parts (hair) and too little in others (face), and that makes the view it goes straight to your hair and the portrait loses some prominence. If you added a little more black to the eyes, nose and mouth, I think the face would gain all the prominence it lacks!
Congratulations on your project and I hope you are enjoying the course!
@ricardilus Hello! how are you?
Thank you very much for the feedback about my work. I found the course super good, especially in terms of resources to use Photoshop tools and achieve an expression very similar to analog watercolor.
I wanted to play at working my hair with a pencil and it cost me a bit, because I don't have a graphic tablet, I drew everything, the hair and the face, with my finger on the touchpad of my Mac! and that's why I couldn't insist more on the face.
It is the first time that I do digital drawing, before I did scan work of the drawing and subsequent digitization process.
Again, thank you very much, I agree with your observations, they will surely be very useful to me when facing a new similar project.
@leliaincolor Are you telling me that you have done all the pencil work with your finger and with the touchpad? I'm hallucinating!!! In that case ... plated, what happened! I'm sure that if you do it with a graphic tablet it will be another dimension !!!!
@ricardilus haha! yeah! I have a macbook air, I don't have a graphics tablet and when I saw the video presentation of the course I really liked it and I said to myself, well, let's see if I can try this with what I have and achieve something more or less good. And well, what came out the best was the textures and stains, and of course, the drawing cost me, and it took me time to do hair by hair and each line of the face, so I fled a little to touch it a lot for fear of make it worse!
My idea is to buy a graphic tablet in the future, but first I wanted to try the experience of drawing with pencils in photoshop, and I loved it despite not having the appropriate tools. So I imagine that with a graphic tablet I will be fascinated!
Thanks again for everything shared and for the return.
