Tokyo creative trip

En mayo de 2018 tuve la oportunidad de ir por segunda vez a Tokio, esta vez con un objetivo claro. Mi intención era la de tratar de absorber toda la creatividad que pudiera y transformarla en motivación y energía para seguir desarrollando proyectos de ilustración. Creo que Tokio es una ciudad espectacular en muchos aspectos y es el sitio ideal para recargar energía creativa.
Probablemente mi fascinación por Japón comenzara de pequeño con "La batalla de los planetas" (Gatchaman), "Mazinger Z" o "Ulises 31" y se viera reforzada a los 14 años cuando vi por primera vez "Akira". En cualquier caso Tokio es el primer sitio en el que pienso cuando necesito recargar.

Pufffff ... AKIRA. In 1994 I remember perfectly where I saw it on VHS, and I think it transformed me! The illustrations are very cool, as always.

Teacher Plus@jalcalarart Thank you, I also rented it at the video club in my neighborhood. But before, I had seen something on a program on 2 (the second channel) called "Metropolis" and it left me wanting to see more.
