This project was a renovation of an old residential apartment that now would be a showroom. The entire building was being adapt for comercial use. The clients had already a store in a local business center nearby but wanted something more private and special so they chose this location. They wanted a mix between old and new but at the same time practical and contemporary. They gave us some references such as Londons metro tiles and they also had pieces of furniture from the old store that we would have to adapt to the new one. We took advantage of some existent features in the apartment such as the parquet floor and the wooden doors that lead to the “external” area that we painted blue to give a bit of a contrast to the monocromatic interior. We used pine wood in the woodwork and fake leather in the couch to keep it more sustainable.
