YEOVILLE Neighbourhood

StaffThe photos are cool, although I think you put (for my taste) too much HDR and unsharp masking, in the last one a mask is sure that it brings out tones to the woman's skin;) hugs!

Totally agree. There I have a personal struggle, I am not a fan of HDR but one thing that these environments have are textures, to try to get them out, I have tightened the contrasts a little more in medium and high lights to give chicha to the surfaces and the result has been a HDR effect not wanted. It also influences that I do not wear a good lens, since wherever I go it is not advisable to give the cante with a great team. This reduces me in sharpness that I try to fill in some way, but where there is none ...: D Another personal debate is that of color, it is a city and culture full of vivid colors, if I attenuate them too much the photo remains dull. Even so, saturated colors come out even when shooting with the camera at a neutral color setting. The fish woman is a miracle that she has come out, the photo is shot at 3200 ISO at 1.8 and speeding up to 1/60. With a tube TV just to the contrary and the darkness of the place did not give a penny for the photo haha. But I managed to highlight his features a bit without breaking the image.
Thanks @microbians for the contribution, in fact I am going to do a review of the photos.
Hugs.

Staff PlusTotally agree with @microbians . The series seems incredible to me, all the work you are doing out there is very good. With a more neutral touch-up (which does not mean sacrificing colors) you will win. HDR has done us a lot of damage.

Well @microbians and @pelluz . Heeding your wise advice, I have updated the series and made it a review, more relaxed colors and contrasts, I think it has won a lot. Thank you very much for sharing your opinion, it is appreciated.
I hope you like the result.
Hugs.
