Project in Contemporary Basketry Techniques Applied to Fashion

Hi！
For this piece, I used the round-core rattan that I had used in the workshop.
In it, I wove a square basket, which turned out to be more challenging than I expected. This time, I tried my hand at making a round, shoulder-strap basket.
Since I prefer simple designs, I added a touch of color, just as suggested during the workshop.

Rattan (2mm & 3mm round core), a spray bottle filled with water, clothespins, scissors, ribbon, leather Belt, an awl and so on.

First, I used 3mm round-core rattan to start by shaping the round base.

For the top section, I used 2mm round-core rattan instead.

I added a strap so it can be worn over the shoulder. I also put an inner bag I had at home inside the basket to add a little flair.
