DOBLANDO A PATRICIO ESTRELLA
DOBLANDO A PATRICIO ESTRELLA
Siempre me ha parecido un personaje muy carismático y especial desde niño así es que decidí doblarlo... para ello me apoyé de los recursos vistos en las lecciones de Isabel :)

Teacher PlusHello Kevin, I greet you with pleasure and affection.
My love, dubbing isn't about imitating, it's about suggesting voices. Patricio's voice is already there. I would have loved to hear him with your voice, going up and down in pitch; that would have been even more surprising.
I heard your Patricio read. I understand. Maybe you were nervous, but you should have enjoyed it more. I've always said that dubbing is like a game, but with responsibility. You have fun imagining what that character will sound like with a high-pitched, deep, nasal, slurred voice, etc.
In terms of timing, you were late in some dialogues, especially from 1:10 onwards.
You have good diction, that's good. But don't get too confident; keep reading aloud to be more confident.
Do emotional exercises. Record a single sentence with hate, another with love, another with resentment, another with sadness—you'll notice it sounds different. Play with your voice.
I advise you that if you like dubbing, you study Acting; it's the foundation for being able to do dubbing, and if you can experiment in other specialties such as Theater, Film, and Television, that would be wonderful.
If you want to pursue a career, do it! Prepare every day.
I wish you success.
