Background Design

Thinking of the character as a "meet the artist" post kind of helped me to put it all together and comprehend how their likings and dislikings could show up in their house.

I used my wacom one tablet and photoshop

I have sketched many options... I think that the part that was harder for me was the fact that it was a very open space with multiple rooms in one point of view. But at the end I think I was able to come up with an interesting layout!

The painting process was also very interesting! I tried the traditional painting, but because of the amount of details I added it started to get confusing and distracting from what was mostly important. That's when I came up with the idea of old 50s vibe painting! I really liked how it turned out!
