Introduction

Since I wanted to work with my stash of yarns for the final project, I had to change the colors of the pattern so that it was clear for me and I wouldn't make mistakes when knitting.

I worked with acrylic yarn that I had saved and wanted to use in a special project. My color palette was grey, electric green and pink; three colors that I always wanted to mix but never dared to.
Also I worked with wooded needles because I'm still begginer knitter, and these needles allow the wool to more grip better and not come loose as easily as happens with the metal ones.
Process
I have to confess that it was not easy to maintain the same tension. As I am still a beginner and learning the continental method, the traditional method is very difficult for me. But it's nothing that practice can't improve.
I find this Jacquard technique beautiful because as you knit, the figures and designs slowly appear, it´s almost magical.
This design specifically seemed amazing to me. It is neutral, but it can be very feminine and very masculine too. It has so many shapes that there is always something new to discover: the stripes, the squares, the crosses, the dots... and the color possibilities that can be made are endless!!!
I didn't take many photos of the process because I focused on finishing it quickly.
And this is how it looks after blocking it!
I think that making this cowl is a very good exercise to practice color changes, tension and in general to be a better knitter. I really liked it and I can't wait to try this pattern (and other new ones from Jennifer) with other types of fibers and colors!
