Exploratory sketchbook

I created this illustration based on the exercise that I made. I made some adjustments on the colour as well as the composition of the subject. And I used instructor Sarah’s work as a reference, because I’m inexperienced in colour usage and composition.
In thus illustration, I tried to draw myself and my two cats chilling in bedroom.

Neocolour 2, Staedtler watersoluble colour pencils, Staedtler water colour brush pen

This is the illustration that I made in one of the exercises, I used this as a base for my final project.
I continued with the same colour palette.

I mainly used neocolour 2 in the illustration, and using light colours to create a relaxing atmosphere.
