Teacher PlusHello Natalia,
Congratulations on completing the course and thanks for sharing your final project with the community. Your photo series shows a strong understanding of different techniques, and you've captured some beautiful moments.
In the first image of the cat, your focus is sharp and effectively highlights the fur texture and the cat's expression. Slightly adjusting the exposure to reduce any harsh contrasts would bring a more refined look to the shot.
In the picture of the purple flower, the shallow depth of field works well, isolating the flower nicely. To improve this, try adjusting the composition slightly by positioning the flower off-centre or along a third of the frame to create a more balanced and engaging look.
In the tree silhouette shot, you’ve captured a striking mood with the sunlight filtering through, but lightening the shadows a bit would reveal more detail without losing the contrast that makes this image so atmospheric.
Finally, for the beach sunset, the colours are lovely and convey a calm vibe; however, experimenting with a lower angle or adding a foreground element could add depth and make the scene even more compelling.
Overall, you've done a great job capturing the essence of each scene; small adjustments in composition, lighting, and exposure will take your photos to the next level.
Thanks again for sharing your project.
Best of luck,
Giulia
