The client was keen to to have their logo depict a sliced orange because in many cultures, oranges are considered a symbol of good fortune and are often associated with celebrations and blessings. Orange slices are also considered a symbol of the sun and the returning light. Within the chakra system, orange is associated with creativity, while in feng shui, orange represents the element of fire, energy and confidence
Additionally, orange is a perfect blend of red and yellow, it is cheerful and it brings an enthusiastic energy to every brand. The colour psychology of orange is optimistic and uplifting, rejuvenating in spirit. In Europe and America, surveys show that orange is the colour most associated with amusement, the unconventional, extroversion, warmth, energy, activity, taste and aroma. These qualities were essential to the client who was looking to launch a sustainable, plastic feee, quirky, plant based, nutrient dense, gluten free, refined sugar free brand of treats and dairy free alternatives with nut free options - the first of its kind in Lagos, Nigeria.
