Live, online workshop: 2 DECEMBER—3 DECEMBER, 2023 | 9:30 A.M.—4:30 P.M. (EST)
PURPOSE OF THE COURSE:
Have you ever wondered how the array of pencil grades: H, B, HB, F, 4B, 8B...applies to shading in a practical sense? Is there such an effect of "warm" and "cool" tones within the tradition of graphite drawing? How can comprehensive material awareness heighten your own system of shading? This drawing workshop is designed to walk students through certain procedures and strategies for achieving successful tonal values in their drawings.
Beginning with demonstrations and interactive critiques on approaches to value, details, and edges, students will learn how to push their graphite pencils to the limits. All skill levels are welcome.
2 DAY ONLINE (AND UP CLOSE) WORKSHOP $395
