Each month since November 2021, I publish the pages from my Carnet de gratitude that I began following Kate Sutton's course : "Illustrated Life Journal: A Daily Mindful Practice".

This practice really changed my life, and I have explained 21 times here, how much sketchbooks and journaling with illustrations have become important for me. So I won't bore you with another spiel even though, I'm really in love with my Carnets de gratitude and the state of mind I have developped around them.

So August has passed at Maison Legrand, the kittens are now young cats, they have gained a brand new catio, we spent our holidays in the backyard, enjoying life outside yet protected... I reconnected with lost friends, read new stuff, discovered bands I should have known before, and had a nice time that I'm going to share with you.

We had a lovely brunch with cheese, fig and cherry jam, it was my daughter's wedding anniversary, the kittens felt better

    I can't believe the cats are a year old already (and happy birthday to you, too!)...it has been so fun to watch them grow up! I enjoy your style so much--your illustrations get more beautiful every month. It is like a little gift for those of us who are lucky enough to follow you :) (And I love "Down By Law," too--one of my favorite movies!!)

    @robocat Tina, thanks for your feedback <3 it's true that I can't believe how much the kittens have grown, now they are no longer kittens, we call them Les Potichats. It's reallyy nice of you to follow my sketchbooks adventures. I enrolled in more Domestika courses, how could I resist ? But didn't find the time to really begin them what with the cats to look after and my daily Carnet de gratitude... Well, I can always dig into them later :-)
