I am killing two birds with one stone here. I needed a work for an exhibition at the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Maleny, Queensland, Australia as part of a Maleny Printmakers exhibition. The theme was fungi, so I have made my work with 12 cms squares of cyanotype and green tea toned cyanotype. I have joined the squares together with strips of watercolour paper painted with orange watercolour and glued with Aquadhere. This wasn't such a great idea as the Aquadhere disolved some of the orange and it tended to get places it wasn't meant to be. The cyanotype, on the other hand worked really well and is on Pescia 300gsm printmaking paper. I did the artwork for the negatives from my own photos, but had them printed on to transparancies at a copy shop.
