Toto (Wizard of Oz)

This is the fifth piece for my "Dogs in Movies" series. Currently, I have a fascination with these checkered fabrics that remind me of the onesies used in kindergartens in my country. When I bought this fabric to use as a tablecloth for a designer market that I participated in, I instantly thought of Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and her iconic dress. I definitely had to embroider Toto with it.

The complete piece is made with cotton threads (DMC, Anchor & Madeira) on synthetic printed fabric.
