@elodiewrites I think you should be pleased with you work! It takes time and practice you become familiar with our paints.
I think you are correct and that if you had more differentiation between the two gradients in each scene it would take your art to the next level. I almost always add more white paint than I need to my pallet so in you next piece focus on using a wider range of tonal values to get that contrast you are looking for.
You're making great progress though and thinking in the right way about your art so I'm excited to see what you create next!😁

I had trouble getting a more contrasting tone with my paints. Not enough white? Not enough practise?!
