Tales from the City - Cover Artwork

I was commissioned by TOKEN Magazine to illustrate the cover of their first anthology, Tales from the City.

It features a collection of short stories from London writers on themes of food, climate and nature. I had so much fun illustrating this piece, playing with the green hues, and having an urban fox take centre stage. I also enjoyed the process of brainstorming the initial idea and coming up with a composition that includes the themes mentioned above.

I also illustrated a few black and white interior pieces to go alongside some of the stories. Here's one of my favourites of the fox with a block of tofu:
