Hand painted wedding cake inspired by an Ian Staurt wedding dress

This cake was inspired by a stunning floral wedding dress designed by Bridal designer Ian Stuart - I incorporated with shape of the gown into the design with the hand crafted gum paste looped bows. the whole cake was then hand painted using cocoa butter paint with a floral design, reminiscent of the original textile print. This cake was huge (it was created for a large cake show as a feature cake) so took approx a week of solid work to complete.
