Here is my final project I made for the course!
A set of cards and envelopes in different colors and patterns! Some cards have petals, others are two-tone. I'm eager to see all your projects and can't wait to hear how your experience making handmade paper goes!

Hello Sonia, I have just joined the course and was wondering if it is possible to create smooth paper? I use ball point to draw and smooth paper works best. Thanks
@roadtripsandpics Hi! sure, it is totally possible.
First, follow all the steps I show in the course until the pressing phase.
Once you have pressed your paper (you removed all the water in excess) you can decide not to dry your paper in the open air but to iron it ( a regular iron will work fine).
Just notice that your paper will be for sure still wet even after your pressed it so you DON'T WANT TO put the hot iron directly onto the wet paper. Use a cloth inbetween so the iron does not stick to the wet paper.
Option 2: if the paper is VERY wet after the pressing, let it dry in the open air for some hours and before the sheet is completely dry, iron it!
Hope this helps!
