Textures of Time - Porcelain Wallscapes

My ceramic work is influenced by the frenetic lifestyle of living in a vibrant, unremitting city and the general flux of time. Being a Londoner travelling through prevailing architecture and populous streets, the intentions in my work are to capture this visual data and inspire the notion of finding space; to quieten the feeling of 21st century city living and immerse oneself in a more visceral being. I have been using graphical and illusionary surface qualities that address urban landscapes and digitisation. The outcomes are achieved with self-developed screen printing and casting techniques in porcelain clay.
