I led Instagram's communication strategy for Spanish and Portuguese speaking audiences through the official Instagram social media channels, with a combined audience of more than 20M.
I managed an international team of journalists, digital strategists, photo editors, planning producers and community managers, forging strategic relationships with external and internal partners, such as Instagram content creators, public organizations and media companies.
I was also responsible for surfacing, planning and executing stories from our Latin American users to run on the flagship @Instagram account, the biggest social media channel, with 302M followers, from feed post interviews with photojournalists to Stories and IGTV features with public figures during tentpole events like the Grammy or Oscar Awards.
