Rya Knot Weaving

This little weaving is a fun example of making an entire piece with one technique - for this piece I only used rya knots! (I wove a few rows of tabby in between each row of rya to maintain the structure and secure the knots.) I used a variety of fibers to give a fun and textured look. I made a large-scale version of this for a client on a forty-inch hoop once as well. I love the look of these!
