My personal portfolio website, designed by Loonatiks Design Crew, is based on a letter grid rather than a column grid. The title "Yannick Gregoire" allows for 16 characters on a row. Every step in font-size down, the amount of characters per row is doubled. This gives the layout a nice grid to work with, but also adds to the command line aesthetics.

To keep the site simple and light-weight, we chose to create a realtime ascii art canvas, sourced by low-res video footage.

This site won SOTD at AWWWARDS and WOTD at CSS DESIGN AWARDS, and has been featured on numerous inspiration websites and blogs.
