Way of the Dragon – AMP silkscreen

I worked with Cult Classic Prints and did a 10-color silkscreen AMP of Bruce Lee’s Way of the Dragon. I desired to create a very straightforward and intense interaction between the dragon and Bruce Lee in the composition. Also, I wanted us to feel the daunting pressure and the illusion of being him as we look into the poster.

When I ink, I think more of technical matters such as the direction of lines, the amount of ink, nibs, composition, balance, and overall movement.

Texture, texture, texture... "How should I draw lizard-snake-like hard skin?" "What does it smell like?" "Is it coarse?" There are also numerous questions in my mind when I ink.
