Hope in Crisis - The opioids epidemic, W&M University

It feels like ages ago, but before Covid-19, there were other health crisis
worth talking about, and one of these was, and still is, the opioid epidemic.
At the beginning of 2020, I was asked to work on the cover story of the
William & Mary University's Alumni Magazine titled Hope in crisis - The opioids epidemic.
Since the topic is extremely sensitive, finding the right balance between the seriousness of the subject and a hopeful point of view was not an easy task and required a lot of back and forth with the Art Director. But finally, it turned out to be one of my favorite projects and earned me a World Illustration Awards shortlist in 2021.
