This was a mask I designed, sculpted and painted for a Halloween mask in the early 2000's. It was so disturbing that the company received complaints about it! Either way, it went into production, and was a great success. I took extra care with the paint job to ensure a particularly nasty realism.

I think the reason this is particularly scary is the fact that stuff like this actually happens. It's rare, for sure, but when nature goes haywire... you just can't beat that sh*t! Creepy af.
