My project for course: Botanical Patterns in a Sketchbook: Conquer the Blank Page

This was the very first Domestika class that I took. I was totally captured by Polina's illustrations and couldn't resist starting my own sketchbook project. I admit it was pretty daunting at first especially when you start counting how many blank pages you have to conquer to complete and finish the sketchbook. Also, I was new to Posca markers and had very little experience with acrylic paint pens. But I was up to the challenge and I'm glad I did it. I've since started another sketchbook and am about 3/4 done with it.

I love the colours you use and what you put your paintings on. So unique in so many levels. Following so I can see more of your work ☺️
My first Domestika course and I enjoyed it immensely. Also my first finished sketchbook. ☺️
I love all of them but especially #1. :)
Thanks, @cetowah13. I had so much fun filling the sketchbook!
Amazing work!
Hi Ruby, thanks for sharing your gorgeous sketchbook project with us! I'm super impressed by your patterns, the level of detail is amazing and there's something really unique about how you combine different elements. Also, those leaves at the end! Happy you hear you enjoyed the course, hope you keep creating more beautiful art!
If you're interested in learning how to paint and embroider this kind of patterns on textiles, I have another Domestika course that I encourage you to check out! https://www.domestika.org/en/courses/4591-embroidery-and-fabric-painting-for-beginners/polinaoshu
