Little Wanderer

I started with the sketch idea, but from the start I felt something was off. After a while I figured out that the problem is not in the idea itself, but with the design of the character. It does not tell any kind of story, it's bland.

Since I liked the color palette and general feel of it, I just tweaked the original idea and changed the design of the character. Design is simple cause I actually thought about animating this illustration, but I think that would block me here, since I struggled a bit at the beginning.
