Materials:
Used Steel Hook coming from steel constructions.
Used Steel Net as the container of stones (Grating).
Small Stones can be found in large quantities in many places in Jordan.
Community-made Woven Colorful Fabric that covers the pavilion.
Advantages of the Pavilion:
- Jordan nature has many stones in different natural areas. Also, since the main used material in Jordan is stone, it is common to see extra of them in quarries.
- Steel is also used in many buildings so we can find many of them in steel construction places.
- In order to engage many stakeholders and work alongside the community, we can let the community add its identity to the pavilion through the woven fabric, as it is one of the main traditional crafts in Jordan.
- Five columns can also be used as seats due to the on-ground foundation.
Dismantling:
- When we want to dismantle the pavilion, we can use its columns to sit on and the fabric could be transformed into a carpet.
- The pavilion’s foundations are on the ground in order to dismantle it easily and to not create any damage to nature, also we can move it to many places before dismantling.
