Sky Dancers

Sharing some key steps in the process of putting together a pitch, some of the 'behind the scenes' work that doesn't appear in the final pitch but helps me to flesh out my idea as much as possible without actually writing it!

I pitched Sky Dancers to several publishers, and it found its perfect home with Oxford University Press' wonderful Readerful series! It is illustrated by Chiara Fedele, whose stunning art perfectly captures the gritty atmosphere and expansive skies of late-1800s New York.
