CONVERTED

Cover art for the 9th International Architectural & Design Visualization Challenge on RONENBEKERMAN.COM ArchViz Blog.

Leading up to the challenge launch, I developed the CONVERTED concept based on Wolf Trap Light, a caisson lighthouse in the Virginia portion of the Chesapeake Bay, about seven and a half miles northeast of New Point Comfort Light. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

I used SketchUp to model a rough version of the converted lighthouse, and Thea Render v3 (beta) for a very basic render I then work on in Photoshop for the "Sketch" look & feel used with "Paper Clippings" to convey the Work in Progress style of the competition.
