David was elected to the prestigious RI in 2010. The Royal Institute is more than 200 years old and many of David's influences were associated with the Society including JMW Turner, Walter Langley RI, and Rowland Hilder RI. Shortly after his election David was elected onto the RI Council. During his time on the Council he designed and supervised the construction of the RI Website which is still in use today.
